Next in the ponytail project: Fire Lord Zuko with Sun Warrior hair. Please direct all blame to ~blood-inthe-rain -we were discussing the many virtues of S1 Zuko's hairdo, I was wishing he'd go back to it one day after becoming Fire Lord, she was wishing he'd have longer hair than Ozai, and then I misunderstood, and um, this.

He's starting to grow on me. Seriously. Zuko's end of season hairdo really doesn't give him the gravitas of a serious Fire Lord, IMO, and I imagine he may not want any hairstyle that makes people remark on how much he looks like his daddy. The Sun Warrior ponytail makes him look kind of scary. Also, it is swishy and fun to draw.
